AmaZulu Community Trust donates to needy
In accordance with women’s month, AmaZulu’s CIS wing, the AmaZulu Community Trust, took to Inanda to visit and donate food to homeless children under the care of community builder Mam’ Shangase.
Programs Manager of the Community Trust, Mpho Dintwa, presented groceries worth more than two months’ supply as well as a Defy sponsored fridge.
“Helping a woman like Mam’ Shangase felt like something I believe we had to because after hearing how she takes care of more 10 children in one small household by her own means, touched our hearts”
“Not only is she feeding abandoned children, but she also welcomes a number of children sent by community members for a meal sometimes from the little that she’d gathered that time,” said Dintwa.
Usuthu players Willem Mwedihanga, Philani Zikalala and new singings Mfundo Nsele and Pinehas Jakob asserted to AmaZulufc.net that as professional players, they themselves ought to understand the dire needs of the less fortunate and lead by example.
