Exciting final for Community Charity Challenge
Saturday, 11 April promises to be a day like no other for Durban’s outdoor loving public when the AmaZulu Community Trust hosts the Corporate Charity Challenge finals at Moses Mabhida People’s Park.
Families are encouraged to come out in their numbers to be part of the fun and entertainment while cheering on their loved ones.
Some of the matches from week 4 will be replayed on Saturday, they were abandoned due to stormy weather and lightning threat.
There will also be something just as exciting for the supporters who’ve been attending the matches in the form of an all expenses return ticket for two to any local destination in South Africa, courtesy of Grindrod Travel.
The draw for the competition will be made during the finals.
It has been an amazing few weeks for all 16 teams (companies) who’ve participated in the exciting six-a-side football fundraiser.
Many thanks to our partners, Standard Bank, Grindrod Travel and media partners East Coast Radio and Independent Newspapers for throwing their weight behind this initiative which will assist us in our commitments to raise funds that bring relief to needy communities.
Entrance to the matches is free. Matches will start at 12pm at Peoples Park, Moses Mabhida Stadium.
Fixtures: Social Stream Semi-finals: Defy VS Gela Production, Process Litho VS Gold Circle I.
Competitive Stream Semi-finals: Spar DC II VS AmaZulu FC I, Golden Circle II VS Spar.
The final will be played at 16:00pm.
