AmaZulu Community Trust donates groceries to Cato Crest families
With Christmas just a full week away the AmaZulu Community Trust took it up its role of providing relief and assistance to two needy families based in Mayville’ s Cato Crest area on 15 December.
Mrs Motha who is a pensioner looks after her four unemployed children and 15 grand kids while Miss Nene is an unemployed single mother with four children dependent on her. Both were filled with joy and gratitude for the generous gesture.
Programs Manager of the Community Trust, Mpho Dintwa was accompanied by Usuthu players, Tapelo Nyongo, Simphiwe Lumkwana, Vukile Mngqibisa, Zola Jingxi, Augustine Ramphele, Zakheer Williams, Butholezwe Ncube and Dylan Stoffels for the trip.
“We can sometimes take it for granted that during this time of the year there’s a lot families in need out there and around us so it is only necessary that we do what we can to bring a smile to others whilst we have the opportunity,” said Dintwa.
