As Christmas draws near our loved ones need to know they are appreciated and it was for this reason that the AmaZulu Community Trust recently visited Ethelbert Child Care Centre in Malvern to put the spirit of giving into action.

Although the plan was for the full squad to visit and interact with the children, Trust Coordinator, Mpho Dintwa, AmaZulu PR & Communications Manager, Philani Mabaso, and Media Officer, Brilliant Mkhathini, entertained the little ones and left a few words of encouragement.

“It is a blessing that some of you, although you are from different backgrounds, have an established centre like this with facilities and the care of helpers looking after your well- being,” Mabaso said.

“In life you have to be grateful for what God has blessed you with.”

The children received toys as well as goodie packs and also received tickets to the AmaZulu vs Bidvest Wits match played on Sunday at the Moses Mabhida Stadium, while those in love with the sport were given Adidas boots.

Ethelbert Director, Weekend Ngubane, thanked the club for their efforts in brightening the children’s festive season.
